About

Germán Moltó received his bachelor in computer science and PhD by the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) in 2002 and 2007. His thesis involved the application of advanced computational techniques such as High Performance Computing and Grid Computing in the study of the electrical activity of the heart and the design of proteins.

His current interests include Grid Computing-based Service-Oriented Architectures, Virtualization techniques and Cloud Computing.

He is also interested in learning and applying innovative active methodologies into classroom. Since July 2008 he holds a title of Specialist in Universitary Pedagogy. In 2009, he received an Excelence in Teaching award from the ETSInf. He teaches data structures and algorithms to second-year undergraduate students.
